Who we are: Atlantic Gulf is the trading name of Atlantic Gulf W.L.L. (Kingdom of Bahrain) (“Atlantic Gulf”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We provide advisory and development services across hospitality, branded residences and related real estate. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit our website, subscribe to updates, contact us, or apply to programmes such as the Lagoon Partners Programme.
 
We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (UAE PDPL) and, where relevant to visitors in the UK/EU, the UK GDPR/EU GDPR.

• Documents you upload: leases/tenure schedules, presentations and other supporting files.

• Engaged specialists (subject to NDA/contract): quantity surveyors, marine/environmental engineers, legal advisors, design/brand/marketing partners, and—only when appropriate—shortlisted operators/brands or capital partners in relation to your submission.

• Law enforcement/regulators: where required by law or to protect rights.

• Corporate transactions: in the context of a reorganisation, merger or asset transfer, subject to safeguards.

 
We do not sell your personal data.
 
 
5) International transfers
 
We operate in the UAE and may process/store data in other jurisdictions. For UK/EU data subjects, where data is transferred outside the UK/EU/EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses plus supplementary measures). For UAE PDPL, we use approved transfer mechanisms where applicable.
 
 
6) Data retention
 
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above:
 

• General enquiries: up to 24 months from last activity.

• Programme applications/EOI & feasibility: typically 24 months from last activity or until the relevant project cycle closes, unless longer retention is required for legal reasons.

• Contracts and transaction records: usually 6 years after termination/close.

• Marketing: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

  We may retain minimal records to honour suppression/unsubscribe requests.

 
 
7) Security
 
We implement technical and organisational measures (access controls, encryption at rest/in transit where supported, least-privilege access, regular monitoring). No system is fully secure; please take care with what you submit online.
